ArtBoard Mobile Application Design

NE Minneapolis is considered the Art District of Minneapolis. A trendy place, full of artists, foodies, and musicians.

In recent years the NE community has developed rapidly. Hundreds of artists occupy industrial buildings that have been converted into artists’ studios. These artists are wanting more business and are struggling to compete to preserve the art culture. They are wanting to attract more businesses and supporters of the arts.

REASERCH:

After meeting with leaders in the Arts District I learned more about the initiatives these artists were taking out of their own time to connect artists in this area. It was clear there was a need for connection within the community.

Through surveys and interviews with artists, admins and members of art organizations in Minneapolis, I identified that there was a need for a digital platform. A tool that would aid art community connection.
